I love finding these vintage messenger bags. They are not always in the best condition but vintage leather does often have its share of blemishes which to me only enhances how cool the piece is.
This messenger bag has a handle you can see but does not have a long strap for a cross body bag look. There are marks on the very bottom of the bag - possibly ink- but the buckles on the front to close the bag work great as does the handle which is in good shape.
The look is that vintage Ralph Lauren vibe all day long. Pair this with a vintage tweed blazer and jeans that's all you need to complete your look. Use this bag for work or for travel. This heritage leather is definitely meant to be used.
