It's actually hard to find shops that curate the right mix of new and vintage furniture and accessories.
In Sudbury, Massachusetts Casita does it. Kalah Talancy creates just the right mix with new custom upholstery, one of a kind vintage artwork, vintage glassware, new textiles and blankets, along with lots of table top accessories. Kalah's love of travel inspires her to pick up one of a kind pieces that mix beautifully with new lighting and case pieces.
Whether I'm looking for a hostess gift or browsing for a piece to refresh my home, I don't want to go into a shop and see the same pieces that are at every other shop. I love that Kalah has pieces that are beautiful and also unique. Her style is immediately apparent in the way the shop is curated from her hand painted entry way, to her wall of oil paintings, to the pops of color in her accessory choices. It's a mix of vintage and new which is right up my alley.
KT2 design group is an architecture and design firm as well where Kalah along with her husband Kevin work together to create beautiful spaces. If you are looking for full scale design or just some new wall art they are located at 357 Boston Post Road in Sudbury.
