As a parent I’m always aware of trying to do the right thing and set the good example. I want to teach my children to be respectful, make good choices, be fearless and happy.

What does this have to do with a decorating blog? Well, it’s the end of the school year and for some reason I’m tearing through my house cleaning out, moving beds around and buying new side tables.

I’ve also been going through the kids paper work and old art projects so I can weed some out and put some in frames. (If anyone has a good system for this please let me know!) There is always so much paper that I try to pull out the ones that might be the kids favorite or really mean something to me.

My daughter has “writers workshop” in second grade and tends to have the highest volume of papers that come home.  While rifling through her piles I pulled out this page.
