We’re in Miami Baby

Well not really.  I was in Miami over the weekend and it was spectacular. I’m a New England girl but I do love the cool Miami vibe. Although, I did not get a chance to check out the design district, I did take in the art deco design everywhere. My favorite spot to hit is the Delano Hotel on South Beach with its mostly white decor and “Alice in Wonderland” landscape.

This classic view of the pool at the Delano just makes me happy.

The boutique hotel was originally built in 1947 and was known for having featured one of the first indoor/outdoor lobbies. The hotel has displayed artwork by artists such as Antonio Gaudi, Man Ray, Charles and Ray Eames, and Salvador Dali.

I love the pop of tangerine in the cabanas and poolside.

I’m inspired to bring a little bit of the SEA back home with me.
